IEC C8 Socket

The IEC 60320 C8 socket is a power inlet defined by the IEC 60320 standard. It is designed to pair with a C7 plug and is commonly referred to as the “figure-eight socket” or “pig nose” due to the shape of its slots. The main difference between the C8 and the C6 socket is that the C8 socket does not have a grounding pin. According to IEC standards, it is rated at 2.5A 250V, while the UL rating is 7A 125V.
